Text is added through the Projects module. If you have loaded a photo, but have not yet created a project, select Projects > Photo Layouts > Collage from Current Photo on the Navigation panel to begin a new project.

To add text to a project: |

Click the Text tool on the Projects Toolbar. The text settings are displayed below the Work area, and a sample text sentence appears in the project. |

Enter text in the Text Editor. |

Select a text color from the Color drop-down menu. |
||
4. |
Adjust the size of the text by dragging the size handles on the text bounding box. |
||
5. |
Rotate the text by dragging the center size handle inside the bounding box. The vertical line indicates the orientation of the text. |

Click this icon to bold the text. |

Click this icon to Italicize the text. |
||
|
Click this icon to underline the text. |

Tip - Multiple effects can be applied to the text, but all the text in the text box will be affected. To apply bold, italics, or underline to a portion of the text, create as many text frames as necessary by clicking the Text tool. Apply the desired effect to each frame, and then position the frames where necessary. |
